Very useful information. Thanks a lot. I would like to ask you a question. If somebody saks me "Hey what are you doing" Can I say, "I'm smelling the food/ seeing my friends playing". In present continuous?

YES BUT TEIR RESPECTIVE MEANING DIFFER , I'M SMELLING FOOD;;MEANS TO KNOW ITS SMELLING WHILE IT SMELLS NICE ;;; MEANS POSSESS NICE SMELLING

I really don't understand this
you said non continuous verbs are the verbs which not be in continuous form
continuous form = v+ing form
but you used it as ing form and wrote normal verb. which form is that
